An unofficial, filterable index of Central Casting's background-actor job posts.

What this is

Rush Call reads the public job-post boards Central Casting publishes for its California, New York, Georgia, and Louisiana offices, extracts structured fields (region, union status, gender, age range, dates, role keywords) from each post, and lets you filter and search across all four regions in one place. Every result links back to the original post on Central Casting's own site, where you read the full listing and submit.

Rush Call is an index, not a mirror. It never reproduces a post's full text, and it never displays a casting director's submission email. The click-through to the original post is the point, not an inconvenience.

Alerts: RSS, or RSS-to-email

Every filter on the home page has a matching RSS feed: set your filters, click "Subscribe to this filter (RSS)", and copy the URL. Paste it into any RSS reader (NetNewsWire, Feedly, the Slack RSS app) and new matching roles appear on your reader's own schedule.

Prefer email? Rush Call doesn't send email itself (no accounts, nothing stored about you), but free services will turn that same feed URL into inbox alerts:

Blogtrottr: paste the feed URL and your email address; no account needed.
Feedrabbit: RSS-to-email subscriptions with digest options.
IFTTT: an "RSS feed → email" applet, handy if you already use it.

Takedowns and corrections

If you're Central Casting, Entertainment Partners, or a casting director and want a listing removed, or if something here is wrong, email rexlorenzo@gmail.com. Removal requests are honored promptly and without argument.

No bulk access

There is no public API, export, or database dump. RSS feeds are capped at the 50 most recent matching items per filter.
